ok, about 10 minutes later, 2009 will come to an end. After recalling lots of memories, I realised that time flies really fast. Hmm, I can hear lots of commotions going on now. Well, a new year is coming. I sure hope that 2010 will be another great year. Looks like many of us are getting older, eh? hahaXD I'm sure lots of people have regrets on 2009, for things they missed. So, lets start a new year and leave no regrets behind. That's youth!!!
Happy New Year!!!
Have a nice day!

Hornbills
Today, as I was walking towards the school for librarian duty, I heard some weird scraping noises and looked up. Amazingly, I saw two hornbills perching together on the roof. Weird, isn't it? After living for so many years, this is the 2nd time I saw wild hornbills in school, both recently. Looks like they are leaving their homes to explore our city, or maybe their homes are gone....

Reunion
1/11/2009, Sunday
Today is the first day of the week, and of the month. It’s also a nice day as well, not too sunny, nor rainy, just right. Nearly all ex-classmates of SJK(C) Chung Hua Krokop, 2006 class 6A + 6B gathered at Tanjung Lobang to have a wonderful reunion.
Nic and I arrived there after three o’clock. Seeing so many old faces just make me feel like being brought back to three years ago. Three years, it’s been a long time. Although something still looks the same, there are still changes, which make things never the same as before.
There were lots of foods on the table. Red bean ice, fried mee, lasagna, cheese cake, dragon fruit jelly, sandwiches plus barbecue meat simply made my mouth water. Oh, I forgot to mention Nic’s salad as well. The foods were delicious, thanks to those talented cookers who kindly sponsored this reunion party.
We invited all our kind and lovely ex-teachers, but sadly, only two showed their faces, 林宴芳老师 and 许琳瑛老师. It’s quite a pity that yellow couldn’t come. I was looking forward to meeting all those teachers who taught us and helped us pass UPSR with flying rainbow colours. 许琳瑛老师brought her son along. A cute gentleman. Lol~
After chitchatting, we took a stroll along the beach. I found plenty of smooth river stones and seashells, and I put some in my pocket. The boys played football by the seaside. It’s really weird to see a guy who used to be shorter than you, now seemed to be towering above you. Nic + Shin Teck + me went to the jetty and meet up with Calvin and other guys. After taking lots and lots of photos, we headed back to the pondok and had more food and fun.
Something which is worth mention of is that someone brought a bottle of beer and the boys had trouble opening it. Any amount of pulling, hitting, shaking, and banging just couldn’t get the cap off. In the end, Robin used a knife to open it. Haha… I tried a little of the beer and it’s not really nice, a little bitter actually. So, I still prefer ‘Sandy’.
At the climax of the party, half of the ‘active ones’ went high and started throwing water balloons everywhere. It’s like a war. So, the ‘not-so-very-active ones’ retreated from the war zone and watched those people playing chase like wet chickens. Trust me, you won’t want a bucket full of water on your head.
After that, we took lots and lots of photos. Then, we went home la~

Aloha!
Hi, it’s been a long time since I last tidied up my blog. First, I don’t have many interesting things to share. Second, I’m a slow typer. It can take me hours just to finish two or more paragraphs. Now, I’ve decided to change my blog so that everyone can see. Actually I’m quite worried that my photos might be misused or something like that. Well, can’t help that. That’s all, I’ll make sure to post something in this blog from time to time. Be sure to comment.
Have a nice day!! ^^

Today
Today is the White Valentines Day, which is a day for the ones who received chocolates last months from their admirers to give their answers. Congratulations to those who has succeeded. And to those who are rejected, I give my deepest condolence to you all.
Also, today is the opening of mid-semester holidays. Everyone must be very tired after the test. Holidays will be the best time to recharge our batteries. The piano theory exam is on Monday, two days from now. Looks like our hard time isn't over yet. After that, I have a Chinese orchestra camp from Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 8.30pm. I wonder if my worn-out battery can work for such a long time. Wish me luck!
Nothing much to write, so I just type many small things. Have a nice day!

A Memorable Day
On 7/2/2009, the Chinese Orchestra of SMK Chung Hua Miri was out for a mission. 8.30 am, all members arrived and then separated to take different ways to destination. 9.00 am, everyone successfully reached destination safe and sound. There, we're given a room to place our things and practise a little bit. When the time came, we had to perform in front of the house repeatedly til the vip came. However, after some time, the vip still didn't show up, so we're allowed to take a 20 minutes break to eat. Then the vip came just after we stopped, right before we could even touch the food.
11.20 am, our hands were already aching, so we had a break ( this time a real break) and took some food--fried mihun, fried rice, rendang, sau mai and a big piece of grill chicken. 11.40 am, we performed again as a closing ceremony. After that, we packed our things and said bye bye. Mission accomplished.
